Last March 25, 2011 my closest cousin gave birth on her 1st
baby. When our grandmother told us that our cousin is now at her room resting
because she had finished gave birthing on the hospital, I feel so excited so
see my nephew after our grandmother told that but we can’t see my nephew
immediately because we are here studying in Manila and they are in the province.
After a couple of months we went back in the province
because it is now the end of our class and the 1st day of our
vacation. We are still on the bus and I can’t stop my mouth on asking what’s
the name of my nephew and is he cute? After 5 hours we reached our house at 12
midnight and when I see the baby sleeping beside her mother I want to wake him
up to see his eyes even though he can’t see anything because he is still 2 day
old when they brought him home.
Fast Forward…
After a couple of months he start on trying to raise his
head while on the bed on an prone position and when he can’t raise he’s head he
starts on crying and crying. After a month he now starts crawling on the
puzzled mat flooring and when he reaches the wall he will try to stand up even
though he falls and he do it over and over again. When he is at the age of 1 we
teach him already on how to walk, we use a thin towel and we put it on his
chest while holding the both end of the towel. After a month he knows already
to walk and run, he always run and run with my young cousins inside our house
and when they got tired he will ask her mother for milk because he is already
thirsty and when her mother gave his milk, he will now lay down on their bed to
rest.
Fast Forward Again…
Now my nephew is at the age of 2 and I am so very proud on
him because at the age of that he already knows how to count from one to ten
and he also knows how to sing ABC. I have many nephew and niece but he is the
one that I like the most because he is always with me wherever I go but now he
is not with me because I am studying here in Manila and I can’t take care him
here if we will get him here and I can’t give also what he wants because I’m
still a student and I doesn't have a work yet. I promised to myself that when I
had my work I will buy all the things that my favorite nephew wants.
